Celebrating a Decade of The Project Corner: Past, Present, and Future

Ten years ago I created this blog and soon after, I wrote my first article: The Project Corner! The article was part of a 5 (later 7) part series on how to correctly use Microsoft Project. Fast forward to today, and I’ve got 175+ articles and a thriving YouTube channel with more than 100 videos. Dedicated to Project and Portfolio Management in the Microsoft application landscape.

Generative AI and the PMO, prompt example and more (weekly updates)

Last week I read about Meta’s work on AI, and a couple of articles describing AI as a big bubble that’s about to pop. From my perspective, Generative AI is still a very valuable addition to the workforce. So this article covers Projectum’s progress in the field and another prompt you can use as part of the PMO.

Oh and remember that Jetpack has AI now as well? Let’s ask the AI to write a paragraph on Project Management as well.

Generative AI created this image based on a simple and fun prompt (mentioned below the image).

Some actionable items, and a big announcement at the end of the post. Thanks for dropping by another weekly article on Artificial Intelligence and project management.

Generative AI, Bing Create made this artificial inteligence image from the prompt provided down below.
This prompt was quite big, so here’s just a little text and the real prompt is below.

[Subject: Project Manager at Workplace], [Purpose: Illustration], [Mood: Confident], [Style: Minimalistic], [Background: Solid colour] Create a minimalist illustration depicting a confident Project Manager doing work in an office. Use simple lines and shapes to symbolize the person’s confidence and professionalism. The solid colour background should complement the overall mood and create a sense of professionalism.

I took inspiration from a previous newsletter from Zain.
